We are what we are made by our teachers. Our teachers laid the foundations of learning and inculcated the values that we have carried all through our life. From the time that I joined Govt. Model High School Sec-35D in 1974, we saw only two Principals (I think) but quite a few teachers. I wish to list them as they come to my mind. Some may have left for their heavenly abode but in our hearts they live and so they are here. The list is obviously incomplete and help is solicited in making it more exhaustive.

ReplyDeleteBefore Principal AK Sandhu, its was Mrs. Nath. She was there in 1973 and I believe a few years later than that (2-3).
ReplyDeleteAlso, there was Mrs. Kapoor (SS teacher). Her picture is there in the class of 1983. Her daughter (Kalika Kapoor, if i am right) was there in section B of 1983 batch. Another SS teacher was Mrs. Bagga that taught us.

ReplyDeleteGurdev singh and Ashok kumar are not in the list. they were science teachers. Piara Lal was english teacher so was Mr Grewal can't remember his first name though. well done Atul. You are doing a great job.
Mrs obraio was our class teacher (87 batch). she used to teach us english. she is now residing in phase 10 mohali.
